Mike, Jake and Will went on a priest father/son trip over Martin Luther weekend. They had such a great time and LOVED snowmobiling through beautiful Yellowstone National park!

~~HAPPY "13th" BIRTHDAY SADIE~~
Sadie had her 13th birthday on Friday the 13th! For her family birthday dinner this year we went to Tsunami. On her actual birthday Sadie, Rachel and I went and got pedicures and to lunch at Dragon Diner. That night she had some friends over for pizza and a movie. Mike, Jake and Will were in Yellowstone with the priests in our ward on Sadie's actual birthday. Sadie is such a joy to have in our family. We sure love you Sadie and couldn't ask for a better caboose for our family! Happy, Happy birthday!!!
~~ENGAGED~~
Rachel and Taylor got engaged Thursday, January 12th! We are so unbelievably excited to have Taylor join our family. He and Rachel have been through so much the last 6 1/2 years so it is fun to finally see them be together :) It was such a romantic proposal. Gary Ellis went up during the day and hung lights in the trees up Millcreek Canyon. The spot they chose was by the river. The bridge across the river was lined with little candles and there were pictures, roses and candles all over the picnic table. The trees above had white lights throughout them. Rachel was completely surprised! Some of us were hiding in the trees to video and take pictures! YAY!!!!

~~RACHEL'S HOMECOMING~~
Rachel did an amazing job on her homecoming talk! The spirit was so strong and you could really feel her love she had for her mission and the people of Calgary. We had a get together after at our house. Soups, breadsticks and desserts. We had a great turnout and it was really fun to be surrounded by the people we love!
